Installing the Toolbox Manually

If you want to install the package yourself, you may perform the operations by hand.

Read the file GPL and ensure you accept this license.
Look in bbinstall.m and find the function GetInstallFiles() located near the top. Copy the files and directories listed into $matlabroot/toolbox/bbtools.
Add the directory $matlabroot/toolbox/bbtools to the path at startup together with the paths listed in GetInstallFiles().
Please see the Matlab documentation on information about how to add directories to the startup path.
Copy the contents of the directory help into $matlabroot/help.

You will also need to integrate the documentation in the Matlab environment. The procedure differs slightly between Matlab versions. In all cases you should copy the appropriate version of info.xml found in install into $matlabroot/toolbox/bbtools.

For Matlab R13 (version 6.5), you should also copy the file install/mwdoctoc_bbtools.xml into the directory $matlabroot/help.
