Scientific interests:

My main research focus is on the application of image processing, computer vision and machine learning techniques in medical imaging as well as the statistical interpretations of results retrieved in medical imaging problems. During the last years, I have worked with high/dimensional regression on structural MRI images, especially focusing on the approach via sparse Bayesian learning, as well as the development of feature selection algorithms based on random forests. Currently, I am applying these types of algorithms to combined MR/PET data acquired at NRU.
