Scientific interests My research focuses on the molecular and pharmacological mechanisms of brain receptors, particularly different serotonin receptors and the tropomyosin receptor kinase B, that are implicated in psychiatric disorders and their treatment. My research is aimed at understanding these mechanisms both in vitro and in vivo using animal models, integrating approaches such as preclinical neuroimaging, receptor–drug interaction assays, immunodetection techniques, and the validation of novel PET radioligands.
