Curriculum vitae

I am Marta Tataryn and I am a PhD Fellow at the Neuroscience Academy Denmark (NAD). I hold a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology from the University of Brescia and a Master of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Trieste.
My master's thesis, conducted at the International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Italy, focused on exploring neuronal network dynamics, combining in vitro population electrophysiology and calcium imaging techniques.

After completing my master’s degree, I engaged in an internship at the Kavli Institute for Systems Neuroscience at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. Here, I analysed local field potentials recorded in the retrosplenial cortex of freely moving rats, starting my journey in computational neuroscience.
My research interests are concentrated on the dynamics of neuronal activity and neuromodulation, especially their implications for memory processes. I am keen to explore interdisciplinary research, combining principles of artificial intelligence, computational and theoretical neuroscience.
