Prof Lars Pinborg and Prof Gitte Moos Knudsen participated in the third episode of DR K’s documentary “Død og pine: Lægevidenskabens Historie” which was about the history of medicine and the development within epilepsy treatment and brain imaging. PhD student Mette Thrane Foged has in a small video clip explained about new studies with a recently developed and refined EEG cap, which with an unprecedented precision can show where in the human brain the epilepsy occurs. Information which is highly relevant for doctors when deciding whether or not a given epilepsy patient should be offered a surgical procedure. The EU grant is worth 200.194 EUR and it enables Brice, who for the last 15 months has been working in a 50/50 post doc position shared by NRU and Section of Biostatistics on KU, to be fully employed at NRU for the next 24 months. We are looking forward to hosting Brice's project here at NRU!
